On Thanksgiving some people only think about food but we went around and asked some YCHS students what they do for Thanksgiving.

Sophomore Rylie Powell said that she goes to her grandparents house to celebrate Thanksgiving, her grandparents make the food, and they watch a movie or football all together.

Powell spends Thanksgiving with her aunt Megan, uncle Cameron, and cousins Mikey,Calvin, Emma.

She said that the reason Thanksgiving is special to her is because she can hang out with her family.

Sophomore Lola Buongiorno does Thanksgiving at her house with her family, she spends Thanksgiving with her mom, dad, grandparents, great grandpa, her aunts and uncles and all her cousins.

She says that since her grandma’s birthday is so close to Thanksgiving her grandma picks what they have for Thanksgiving, like last year they had Mexican food.

Lola said the reason that Thanksgiving is special to her is because she likes that she has so much family to spend it with.
