The holiday season is upon us, and that means it’s time for all sorts of holiday traditions, but what is YCHS doing to celebrate this year? Leadership this year has planned to do the christmas assembly, spirit week and having cacao and candy canes one day.

The spirit week will be happening Dec 15-19 right before winter break and the posters will be posted in the hallways today. Tuning said the thing she is most excited for as a leadership student is the spirit week.

The Christmas assembly will be happening on Dec 12th during Tiger Time with extravagant games and a group of staff members will be acting out the twelve days of Christmas. ¨You’re gonna want to bring your chromebooks to record,¨ said Senior Addison Tuning.

And the cocoa and candy canes will be happening next week right before break, leadership will pass out candy canes to welcome students walking through the door.

YCHS is having a very good and busy holiday season this year. Tuning said she was ready to spread some Christmas joy.
