YCHS’s friendly neighbourhood ASPIRE Mentor Janet Herring-Sherman is hosting “Options Night” on Wednesday, May 1st. Options Night will be located in the YCHS cafeteria, and is being hosted to help freshmen, sophomores, and juniors start figuring out what career paths they may want to pursue.

From 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, food will be served. As well, door prizes will be offered, and students are encouraged to bring their parents, as more raffle tickets will be given to win these door prizes.

There will be experts from seven different colleges and the National Guard to help inform and advise kids on what they might want to do with their lives. If you don’t know what direction your life is headed, this event is for you. “Studies show that students without a plan are less likely to graduate,” Herring-Sherman stated.
