This year has been filled with many fun memories, activities, items, and experiences. But this winter some brought the heat, bringing life and lots of new stuff to the table. The trends this winter are like no other year.
One of the best times of the year to take a vacation without missing out on too much is during winter break. Wendy Perrin’s website had many ideas depending on what you like.
If you have always wanted to visit Europe, now might be a good time to take a chance. The crowds are very small and you get to visit during a magical time where the city’s are adorned with beautiful light and have many festive activities going on for you to participate in.
So if you haven’t yet booked some of the trendy places to visit in Europe are Italy, France, London, and the Yorkshire Dales.
Meanwhile if you are looking to escape the cold weather you might want to book a trip somewhere tropical. Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Maldives, and even Hawaii are creeping up the charts for a desirable tropical destination for Christmas.
But if you really want to experience a winter wonderland like no other, Perrin recommends visiting the Canadian Rockies, the Alps, Norway, or even Antarctica.
The next trendy item this winter was colors so before the new year, according to Vogue magazine, make sure you have plenty of basics such as red, white, and black. But don’t forget to add some neutrals and pastels to create a soft elegant look in your wardrobe.
According to Glamour magazine, some of the hottest fashion outfit categories trends this winter were Boho, Country Chic, Prep School, Preppy, and Heritage inspired. We took a trip back to the past bringing back a lot of old trends including boho, prep school, shaggy sweaters, and lots of layers.
But not all trends came from the fashion industry. According to Good Housekeeping, some of the best gifts this year were travel bags, belt bags and pocket mirrors if you’re looking for a person who is always on the go.
If you’re shopping for a homebody, Good Housekeeping suggests an oversized wearable blanket, weighted cozy, or even some slippers to walk around the house with.
This winter has brought trendy travel destinations and fashion choices. Whether it’s a tropical escape or a winter wonderland, there are plenty of options. From Europe to the Canadian Rockies, and vibrant colors to cozy neutrals. This winter season has offered something for everyone to enjoy.
