If you want to support local businesses, you can’t get more local than this. Social Studies teacher Joci Clark has established and has run her coffee cart with the help from many along the way. Yc graduate Romanee Andrus co-founded the business and has assisted in the business through her senior project ‘Ro and Jo Coffee Co.’.
The business has been booming ever since its creation, the attraction it holds at school is astonishing. Students flock to Clark’s room to ensure a spot to have a taste of the sweet and tangy flavor of her infused Red Bulls.
A memorable event was when Clark and Andrus worked together on the last day of school last year, and catered to all of the students. Just thinking of the day reminds me of the taste of coconut. It was a great way to end the year, on a sweet note.
Although Clark doesn’t just do infused Red Bulls, her audience tends to enjoy them the best. Expanding her menu with iced coffees, flavored lemonades, iced teas, hot chocolates and even boba.
The flavors are typically the draw for the infused red bull drinks, exotic, sweet and refreshing flavors paired with a generic Red Bull. The drink is typically sixteen fluid ounces and has several pumps of the sweet flavorings that Clark has on hand. The flavors are always immaculate, passionfruit and pomegranate combined taste particularly good. A ‘Passion Pom’ if you will.
Charging a reasonable price of only five dollars, this is a very convenient price for her target audience, broke students. Not only does Clark have appropriate pricing, she tends to allow as much money as students can give if they are short of funds, which is a very generous thing to do.
Passion Pom was generously made for me, free of charge and personally I loved it. Typically I do not enjoy red bulls alone. However the sweetness of the additional flavoring is what made the drink taste so special.
Overall this drink was incredibly refreshing, tangy, and added a new flavor into my mouth. It brightened my mood, and left an unforgettable impression on me.
This drink is easily one of my favorites and I would highly rate it a 9/10, I would definitely recommend it.
